Date : 24 February 2009 iTrack Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that their joint project with Alzheimers (WA) to launch the inaugural GPS tracking service solution to aid those suffering from Alzheimers has been finally brought to fruition with the deployment of Safe2Walk (http://www.safe2walk.com.au).  With the official launch by the Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, the Hon. Dr. Kim Hames MLA, the benefits of using the iTrack123 solution to aid in the improvement of the quality of lives for those suffering from this mentally debilitating disease has proven a boon to those already using the service. Police Assistant Commissioner John McRoberts was supportive of the service which also benefited the police department by allowing the police to be more effective in deploying their scarce resources to locate missing persons if they were carrying the iTrack123 devices.
